Hi! I am Sam (Sam-I-am).

I’m an artist based in Colchester, working within illustration & ceramics. My work celebrates playfulness with bright colours and cheerful (sometimes cheeky) characters. 

In 2019, I started developing my ceramic practice at my local community-led workshop, Colchester Makerspace and I can't get enough of it. It feels so good to squish mud into a shape, cook it and have it emerge as something real and lasting!
